Kylie has been performing Civil Ceremonies since 2014, having been authorised as Marriage Celebrant by the Attorney-General of Australia. She is also a member of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Inc.


Kylie’s standard fee includes:

  • as many meetings as you need to discuss your wedding day in detail, with Facebook messages, calls and emails welcomed to provide any further input, clarification and reassurance required
  • a wedding rehearsal
  • supply of PA system and microphone
  • administering the legal documentation ceremony in Charters Towers or Townsville.

Kylie also travels to surrounding areas so contact her to request a quote for travel expenses.

Wedding Ceremony



Each Ceremony is unique and to make it the magical experience you dream of, Kylie will support you through the processes of the ceremony offering ideas and answering any of your questions.


Children are cherished in every family, and are welcome to be involved in your ceremony.


From the 9th December 2017, same sex couples are now legally allowed to marry in Australia. With this exciting news Kylie welcomes all enquiries from same sex couples.



Commitment Ceremony



A celebration ceremony to confess the love two people have for each other. For many different reasons Commitment Ceremonies are chosen by couples. Couples married overseas enjoy the opportunity to recreate their original wedding at home with family and friends who were unable to attend. Couples who wish to declare their relationship but do not want the fuss of the legal paperwork.


For whatever reason, a Commitment Ceremony is a beautiful occasion to announce and celebrate a couple’s love.



Renewal of Vows Ceremony



A perfect ceremony to endorse your love for each other, either privately or as a celebration with family and friends.


A milestone wedding anniversary is an ideal time to renew your vows.


Renewing your vows is a reflection of your journey together throughout your relationship.



Naming Ceremony



Traditionally a ceremony for newborns, a celebration to introduce and welcome the arrival of a new family member and their name, but youth or adults are also welcome to celebrate their name/s.


A naming ceremony is based around the name given to the individual and involves all the people in the individual’s life who are of importance such as close family members, and friends. ​

Meet Kylie Webber



Kylie Webber





Kylie married in Charters Towers in 1990, and has been living here ever since.


She says becoming a Marriage Celebrant has been one of the greatest decisions that she ever pursued.


Kylie loves everything that being a Marriage Celebrant represents - being invited to officiate couples wedding day is such an honour, "It’s one I don’t think I will ever get used to. I truly love this job - if you can call it that - as the joy it brings me is limitless."


She realises the privilege of being involved in the special moments in people's lives and wants to make them as perfect as her role in the day allows.


Most of her spare moments are spent with family. She and her husband have three adult children and two adorable granddaughters, which she visits in Townsville when she gets the chance.
