THINGS TO DO & SEE
in the Towers

Buckland's Hill & Rotary Lookout

Buckland's Hill offers lovely views out over Charters Towers and picnic tables.

It's a lovely place to take your picnic or takeaway food and enjoy dinner with a view.

The Hill was named after Sir Thomas Buckland (1848-1947) who was the goldfield's first gold assayer.

Please note the sign on the way in which states the gates to the Lookout are shut at 8pm each night.
