Raylea and Brad are locals who love their town. They were both born and bred in Charters Towers and it has always been their home.
Raylea had worked at Collins Pharmacy for 33 years and Brad was in the Mines when they both started looking for a change and for something they could do together. In 2016, they decided to buy the Charters Towers Tourist Park, which has been a perfect fit for them.
Many times their knowledge of local history and of locals themselves has helped to reunite a visitor with a long lost friend or relative they used to know and have come back to town to find.
Raylea and Brad both have a love of old cars and were successful in holding the 44th Panel Van Nationals in Charters Towers, which brought people from all over Australia to town.
On the rare occasion they’re not at the Tourist Park, Raylea and Brad love fishing, camping and boating. They are both love water sports – particularly water skiing.
