Libby was born and bred in the bush and comes from a long-line of photographers - her Grandfather established ‘Arch Fraley Photographics Studio’ in 1949. He had been based in Charters Towers and Townsville as photographer/waist gunner in the 5th Bomber Group USAAF during the war.
Libby was schooled here in Charters Towers and grew up spending the holidays watching her Grandfather develop negatives in the dark room - a memory she will forever treasure in the current world of digital photography.
She is a Mum to four beautiful children and watching them grow so fast before her eyes, she knew she wanted to ‘freeze time’ and studied her way around a DSLR camera. Before long, friends were requesting photoshoots and so she started Libby Twine Photography.
Libby loves the connection she has with her clients. “Photography is a beautiful experience. Not only do I have the opportunity to provide a memorable experience, but I also get to connect with people in a fun way and provide them with memories that will last a lifetime. When all is said and done, all that we have left are photos and our precious memories.”
Libby offers a range of services capturing those important moments in life, including maternity and family with a particular interest in Wedding Photography. Libby says, “I love freezing moments of love and life in rural Australia - the ones we never want to forget. I'm creating memories for life for with my clients.”.
Libby loves the outback life and shares a passion for its strong sense of community, freedom and incredible sunsets.
When she isn’t behind the camera or editing photos, she is home schooling her children and helping her husband Sam on their beef and goat farm.
