Lissner Park has a range of facilities including:
- Kids playground with sandpit, swings, slide and musical pipes
- Fully fenced, off-leash dog area
- Restored WWII guns
- Toilets
- Seating
- Yarning circle
- Memorials to Jupiter Mosman and William Hann
- Animal enclosure including geese, ducks, chickens and if you look really carefully, there are turtles in the water.
You can't talk about this park without addressing the flying foxes. Lissner Park was once a beautiful park but is suffering the effects of the flying foxes, which have roosted in the trees in large numbers in recent years. As a protected species, it has been difficult to move them on and allow the community to enjoy the park, though many attempts have been made. The heritage listed trees are suffering the effects, but it is hoped that a plan to move the bats to a new area nearby in mid 2020 is successful.
